In Lebanon, the Upgrading of the Production Process for the Lebanese Agro-Food Industry project, implemented under ELCIM I with funding from the European Commission (EC) and executed by Transtec S.A., Belgium, aimed to enhance the competitiveness and sustainability of the national agro-food sector. The initiative focused on modernizing production lines, improving quality standards, and promoting innovation to align Lebanese agro-industrial practices with international norms and export requirements.
